Allergies

The Club’s policy is to cater for children that have allergies caused by certain food content (i.e. gluten, wheat, nuts). All food is checked for nut content and if there are traces then this product is not purchased. Whereas, for gluten & wheat allergies we can provide an alternative.

In the event of a child having a nut allergy the parents will be asked if the individual carries an injection pen. If so written permission will be sought from the parent/guardian for a member of staff to give the injection in the event that the child cannot due to the extent of allergy. In some cases a second injection may be required. In the event of contamination, the child’s parent/guardian and their doctor will be informed, depending on the extent of contamination a second member of staff will telephone for an ambulance.
